Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines prohibited uses of Mark. Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund. Mark reserves the right to investigate and take action against users who violate this policy.

2. Illegal Activities

You agree not to use Mark for any illegal or unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Violating any local, state, national, or international law
  • Fraud, including credit card fraud or account fraud
  • Theft of intellectual property or trade secrets
  • Money laundering or sanctions violations
  • Distributing child exploitation material
  • Drug trafficking or illegal substance distribution
  • Financing terrorism or illegal organizations
  • Human trafficking or exploitation

3. Harmful and Abusive Content

You agree not to create, generate, or distribute content that:

  • Threatens, harasses, bullies, or intimidates individuals or groups
  • Promotes violence or self-harm
  • Incites discrimination or hatred based on protected characteristics (race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.)
  • Contains graphic violence, gore, or exploitation
  • Includes explicit sexual content or adult material
  • Defames or libels individuals or organizations

4. Deception and Misinformation

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate another person or organization
  • Create deepfakes or misleading synthetic media designed to deceive
  • Generate or spread deliberate misinformation or disinformation
  • Create content designed to manipulate financial markets or elections
  • Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliations
  • Generate false testimonials, reviews, or endorsements

5. Intellectual Property Violations

You agree not to:

  • Infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets
  • Generate content that plagiarizes or violates copyrights
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract proprietary information from Mark
  • Use Mark to scrape, crawl, or extract data from other websites without authorization
  • Distribute copyrighted material without permission
  • Analyze competitors' proprietary content for industrial espionage

6. Cybersecurity and Technical Violations

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Mark or its systems
  • Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful code
  • Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
  • Exploit security vulnerabilities in Mark
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) except those authorized by Mark
  • Attempt to bypass authentication or security mechanisms
  • Create backdoors or unauthorized access points
  • Engage in packet sniffing or network eavesdropping

7. Spam and Abuse

You agree not to:

  • Send unsolicited commercial emails or spam
  • Generate phishing emails or messages designed to steal credentials
  • Generate bulk marketing content intended for spam distribution
  • Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or manipulate metrics
  • Participate in click fraud, impression fraud, or view inflation
  • Use Mark to generate email addresses or contact lists without consent

8. Platform Abuse

You agree not to:

  • Overload or attempt to disrupt Mark's infrastructure or services
  • Engage in activities that degrade service quality for other users
  • Manipulate or interfere with other users' accounts or data
  • Attempt to resell or sublicense Mark without authorization
  • Use Mark with an automated system without explicit permission
  • Access Mark through a VPN or proxy to bypass geographic restrictions

9. Content Restrictions for AI-Generated Material

Additionally, you agree not to use Mark's AI features to:

  • Generate content that could be used to commit fraud or financial crimes
  • Create content designed to manipulate or deceive consumers
  • Generate content that violates advertising standards or FTC guidelines
  • Analyze competitors for purposes of unfair competition or espionage
  • Generate content to deceive search engines or AI systems
  • Create unauthorized advice (medical, legal, financial) presented as professional opinion
  • Generate content that violates industry regulations (healthcare HIPAA, finance regulations, etc.)

10. Third-Party Rights

You agree to:

  • Respect intellectual property rights of others
  • Not analyze or extract data from websites or services without authorization
  • Not violate third-party privacy or data protection rights
  • Obtain necessary permissions before submitting third-party content to Mark

11. Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notifying Mark immediately of unauthorized account access
  • Not sharing your account with other individuals
  • Securing your device and network from unauthorized access

Mark will not be liable for unauthorized access due to your negligence.

12. Data Privacy

You agree not to:

  • Submit personal data of others without their consent
  • Attempt to identify or track individuals using Mark
  • Collect or process data in violation of privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Use Mark to build databases of personally identifiable information (PII)

13. Enforcement and Consequences

Warnings

For minor violations, Mark may issue a warning and request corrective action.

Suspension

Serious violations may result in temporary suspension of your account, access restrictions, or feature limitations.

Termination

Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent account termination, with no refund. You will lose access to your data.

Legal Action

Mark reserves the right to pursue legal action for violations involving illegal activity, intellectual property infringement, or other serious offenses.

Law Enforcement

For violations involving illegal activity, Mark may report users to law enforcement.

14. Monitoring and Investigation

Mark reserves the right to:

  • Monitor usage patterns for violations of this policy
  • Investigate complaints and reports from other users
  • Access and review your account content if violations are suspected
  • Cooperate with law enforcement and legal requests

15. No Guarantee of Uninterrupted Service

Mark may suspend, limit, or terminate service at any time to enforce this policy or for business reasons, without liability.

16. Reporting Violations

If you discover a violation of this policy, please report it to:
